Storyline Course

  • Onboarding sample course for new employees of Boost Career Preparation Services

Problem: Oftentimes office workload and time constraints prevent managers from providing thorough training to new hires. Unfortunately, the lack of training can result in a myriad of ways that job responsibilities are completed which may not be the most efficient way to conduct business. New employees at Boost Career Preparation Services have the credentials and relevant experience to land their new position but leaving new employees to their own devices in getting acclimated to their role is less than ideal.

Solution: This linear training module will provide extensive training to new hires and provide the framework in which their daily responsibilities are to be carried out. Participants are guided through the training in a structured format and will complete a memorandum of understanding for future reference and retention in personnel files.

In accordance with the ADDIE instructional system design model, Boost managers are expected to survey their employees and provide feedback to the training manager in order to enhance future iterations of Module 1 and influence additional training topics that will be introduced in Module 2.

Result: Employees will have a strong sense of what they are expected to do in the workplace, initiate further guidance from their supervisors as needed, and properly uphold the tenets of the organization in order to properly assist students.
